Fighting chronic malnutrition
The Atterbury Foundation, in collaboration with StartWell Foundation, has been actively working to combat chronic malnutrition among young children in South African communities since 2023.
In collaboration with our implementing partners, we ensure that these children receive a nutritious breakfast daily in order to improve their physical and cognitive development over the long term.
Impact to date
Children are monitored on a monthly basis to obtain accurate statistics regarding stunting. Reporting takes place every six months per child, school and geographical area in order to monitor progress.
