The Atterbury Foundation NPC is actively involved in preventing stunted growth among young children. Research shows that 28.8% of children in South Africa under the age of 5 are affected by stunted growth.
In collaboration with our implementation partners, we ensure that these children receive a nutritious breakfast daily in order to improve their physical and cognitive development in the long term.
Children are monitored monthly to obtain accurate statistics regarding stunted growth. Reporting takes place every six months per child, school and geographic area in order to monitor progress.
